- Ebonmuse has a very insightful post on privilege, religious and otherwise.
- The US army is digging itself even deeper into the hole it already fell into with that whole “spiritual fitness” test controversy.
- Matthew Yglesias (who’s also an atheist, yay!) posted some thoughts about Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Islam, and the future government of Egypt.
- No easy answer to this question … but I love that someone had to ask it.

Eh—only the first quarter or so of the Ebonmuse post was about religious privilege; the rest is about male privilege.
Both are obviously very important issues, and his comments are right on the mark in both cases (except that I was distracted by that beefcake picture he posted of himself, hubba hubba)—but as the person who is constantly demanding More Discussion of Religious Privilege and the Way that Cultural Discourse about Atheism is Beset With It, I felt unfulfilled.
